St Louis Bar and Grill - Barrie

My wife and I have been to a few different St Louis Bar and Grill locations and we've enjoyed our visit to each one. The wings are excellent but I have to say that on this particular occasion, it was VERY busy and it looked like they might have been short staffed. The food wasn't too good and the service was a bit slow. We're going to put this down to a "one-off" thing and try again in the near future. After our next visit, I promise to review again and hopefully we'll become regulars.

The place is nice like all the other chains. But it doesn't have the same atmosphere like the other bars. Food was good and so was the service.

The servers are very friendly and the food is very good. There are (I'm pretty sure only) two other locations in Barrie, and this one is the best for sure! (Again, pretty sure there's only two others... Big Bay Point and Dunlop... both of which I wasn't terribly impressed). This is another restaurant for me that if I find something on the menu I love, I'm ordering it every time! I go for their Garlic Dill Chicken Sandwich with Memphis Honey BBQ instead of the hot wing sauce (flavour wise just better IMHO). You can choose any of their wing sauces you like! I love dill so putting that on an already delicious sandwich and it's totally for me!The only downside, is it's kind of the only "sports bar" in the area so if you decided you want to go on a game night, you have to go EARLY!

Had the "friday special".....for $20 you get a half rack and half lb of wings fries and coleslaw (if you can call it coleslaw). It was four wings and the half rack of ribs and about a dozen fries. Waaaaay over priced and not that great. Crossing this one off my list. Service was great. Wait staff was friendly and attentive but food was not great and the portion sizes for the money was very poor.

The food is ok, specially the poutines and the calamari rings, is a little expensive for the quantity of food, but other than that is ok
