Today, when the Monopoly promotion started, I asked for a game piece after purchasing fries and a double cheeseburger, as no purchase is required to play. However, the employee said he needed to check with the manager, who then rudely dismissed my request and gave me a dirty look. This manager has been dismissive towards me in the past, and I have witnessed her disrespectful behavior towards others as well. My food was also cold and overly salty, as is often the case at this location. After this incident, I am considering choosing a different restaurant, such as Tim Hortons, even though this McDonald's is conveniently located for me. Overall, I left feeling embarrassed and disappointed.
I ordered the Western Quarter Pounder at Essen restaurant. The burger was sloppily assembled with the patty and cheese halfway hanging out, the bacon was burnt, there were more onions in the box than on the burger, and there was excessive BBQ sauce dripping everywhere. This was the worst burger I have ever had.
Drive-thru was fast and server was friendly. Where they fail on the food that is the important part of a restaurant. Egg Muffin was cooked on a dirty grill and frits were cold.
This restaurant is much more laid-back compared to other places around the world. It is not as crowded and does not seem to be too concerned or affected by current circumstances.
The chicken nuggets in both my children’s happy meals were raw. When I called in to let them know they asked me to drive there and get new nuggets after I had already paid for delivery through skip the dishes. They then offered coupons. Coupons...imply that I’m coming back. Sorry but this isn’t the same as forgetting the ketchup packets, this is potentially food poisoning for my young kids. Not interested. Definitely won’t be back.
