Restaurante Bode Assado - Barreiras

We have travelled the road from Salvador to Brasilia too often to count. Frequently we stay in Barreiras and almost always we arrive tired and hungry. Thus having been frequently disappointed by the selection of places to eat in the center of the city, we were directed by the hotel to try this churrascaria an easy walk from our hotel also in the center of the city. it is clean and simple as is the menu. BUT wow the meat ! the cuts! the quantity! and the service! all exceptional. We ordered picanha de cordeiro completo with cheese covering, manioca, fries, and salad with a robust chilean red and it was all we could do to eat it all (but we did not leave a scrap despite the generous portions). The price was moderate even more so if you calculate the price in USDs you know you have had a genuine bargain.
