It’s a awesome place, the ambience is very quiet, now let’s talk about the food, prices are a bit high, but not to much, this place primarily serves pasta but there are also options for vegetarians, the waiters were very friendly and attentive with us...and at the end of the meal the chef, also really kind came to our table to ask us how was the food. I totally recommend this place.
YUCK! ... seriously, if you’d ever think of enjoying a nice plate of delicious pasta, this is NOT the place. Just ask nearby and enjoy something else...or go somewhere else! The pasta: Overcooked AND soggy The sauce: greasy AND tasteless Please head yourself to somewhere...else, you’ll surely enjoy something better.
At the 4th floor in the Buenavista shopping mall. Stocked in a corner between a fast-food and an Arab restaurant. Average food. The service was ok. While waiting, a warm bread was served together with some oil, pepper and salt. Nice start. The pizza was...what you could expect from a thin crust variant. My two family members were not trilled about their choice. The portion of the side dish French fries was very small. The presentation of the plate not appetizing. As for the dessert, we ordered tiramisu, but after a short while the waiter returned to our table apologizing that the tiramisu was not at the right temperature to serve. (I am glad they were so honest not to serve it) So no dessert for us. We paid the reasonable bill and left for the Crèpes Waffles in front of the restaurant for a dessert....
If they are looking for an excellent place to dinate in barranquilla, nena lela is the place. my daughter and I tried various items from their menu. we started with la ventana al mundo who pays hommage. in the city barranquilla a new monument. This pasta dish is not only an artwork, but an explosion of taste. it combines all different foods that love “Barranquilleros” to eat like chicharrón (Pork loop), sea grapes, cashews and more. then we ate sorrentinos de hongos testarrosa (raviolis filled with porcini mushrooms in Testarrosa sauce) and cheese raviolis with alfredo sauce and a hauch of Testarrosa sauce. super yummy! cook and cook mendoza surprised us then with a beautiful dish of some of the most popular dishes of nena lela: involtini neri filled with crab meat, ravioli is filled with cranberries and ravioliis filled with artichoke and marscapone. simply delicious! we could not go without dessert eating. chef guillo brought us a court with four amazing desserts: tiramisu, orange panacotta, a chocolate soufflé and vanilleeis with kekskrümeln. omg not only beautifully presented, but for!!! if they have not been in nena lela, they do that. it is a must for local and tourist.
