They had very interesting decorations with fashion heads. The hostess was very friendly. They had an English menu. We started with Bellini, minenstrone soup, fresh juice that was red. We had a chance all juices in Colombia are amazing. We had antipasto with smoked eggplants from the world, Arrancini, salad, eggplant pack and chips. My son enjoyed his Catalina pizza with Mozarella, tomatoes and basil. We ordered a small pizza and it was enough for 2 people. My husband ordered the Morano with Zuchini and Auberginen. His big parts. It was a nice evening.
We ate there twice in 2 days yes we stayed across the street at the Four Points, but it was a great place to eat well, with no need for taxis!!
There definitely is more than a few Italian restaurants in Barranquilla we chose to go here because my husband has eaten here before and it's conveniently located within walking distance to where our hotel is, we went around 630 it was on the quiet side which is always a plus. There menu is not too big and overwhelming but it has just enough choices for anyone to be happy We started with the mozzarella and tomato salad it was very good then we chose to split a spaghetti and meat sauce and a small pizza both were great choices. We definitely couldn't eat anything else after that meal, everyone was very nice. Good find.
This place is a very traditional restaurant in town, it's been working for something like 30 years, not sure exactly how many. This is one of those places you can go 10 years after and it's still going to be as good as always. It's not an amazing place and food is not the best in town, but it's definitely the most cozy place in the whole city. You are going to feel like you are eating at grandma's house. They have been cooking typical italian dishesh for many years and there's no doubt they know how to do it, they would never betray their essence, they like being a small place, to serve the loyal town citizens who went with their parents on sundays and now they go with their sons. It's not an expensive place but neither cheap, it's just okay, a little big high.
It felt weird to be eating Italian food in Colombia, but the food was very good and the service excellent.
