If I could give more than 5 stars for service I would. Lovely restaurant in the heart of Huyton Village. You get plenty, possibly too much, for your buck. Not to worry though, they give you boxes to take it home with you. Our host was absolutely lovely, she literally could not do enough for you. Will definitely go back. The food was fresh and delicious and, in our party of 12, everyone commented on the generous portion sizes. The mixed grill was a mountain of food and my boyfriend was even full after the salmon which is saying something! I enjoyed the vegetarian half moon pizza but the calzone part was more like a fourth than half. It was very clean and service friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was perfect for a Saturday afternoon until ridiculously loud music from the upstairs section started and we had to shout at each other over our meals to try and have conversations. We were there to celebrate and catch up, not attend a karaoke concert. Vegetarian options: There were appetising vegetarian options in most sections on the menu. Parking: Knowsley car parks are free and there are two within a 5 minute walk. Although the multistorey one on Lathom St felt like going into a disaster zone. Our waiter said we could have parked in spaces behind the restaurant but we never checked those out. Wheelchair accessibility: Toilets were upstairs.
