Kings Fried Chicken - Barnsley

The best chicken shop in Barnsley, it has now become my new favorite over AFC Wombwell. Their chips are nicer and the portions are larger. This was our first order in years because we had moved out of the delivery area, but they have just started delivering to our area again. We are so glad to be able to use them again. Thank you Kings for being so great.

The wraps are sizable and freshly made with a wide variety to choose from. They are always delivered hot. The pizzas are also recommended to try.

This dining experience was a complete disaster. We placed an order and were given an hour delivery time, which was understandable considering it was a busy Saturday. However, when the food finally arrived, it was barely warm and the restaurant was unresponsive when we tried to contact them. After reaching out to the delivery service, we were told conflicting information about the status of our order. Despite being promised free items as an apology for the delay, nothing was provided. Overall, the lack of communication and failure to deliver hot food in a timely manner was extremely disappointing. This is not how a business should be operated.

Ordered at special kebab, chicken n chips garlic mushrooms, Food arrived at missing chips Rang and was told they would send them straight away... Still waiting at rang back they apologised saying it is Friday night.... Made our own chips they did...not arrive till and driver said same lame excuse ooh but they did send extra pop!!! Avoid if you are hungry...

So I ordered from here and the woman on the phone seemed Friendly and polite so they have nice staff, so I thought this should be a decent place, I order my food.... the chicken is pink and there’s hardly any crisp on it, the...chips were soggy and cold so they were defiantly undercooked, my food did not seem fresh, and there was a huge slimey lump in my gravey, and the box it came it was nearly falling apart because all the grease was making it soggy, highly don’t recommend eating from here especially if you have high expectations
