Balti Palace - Barnsley

New addition to this. Tried again yesterday. Chicken tikka masala. It was just big lumps of chicken in a very runny red sauce. It was terrible. Will not try them again. Had chicken balti take away. Was the worst curry we’ve had for ages. It was bland and undercooked. The sauce tasted like it came out of a jar. I hope the food they serve in the restaurant is better. Wonder if they have a minion doing take aways

Group of 16 for an 80th birthday celebration. Everything was absolutely spot on, from meet and greet when we arrived, making a fuss of the birthday girl with a birthday cake!. We have been here many times and the food has always been beautiful and this visit was no exception. Very attentive throughout the evening, and some ‘banter’. Will definitely return.

In my opinion, this is the best Indian restaurant in Barnsley. We travel from Rotherham all the time to eat here. The staff are very friendly and the food is consistently good. Been using them for around 4 years and no where has come close to beating it yet!

The food and service was very good the only thing I did not agree with was being asked every 15 minutes or so if drinks were needed even though they could see that the glasses were still nearly full

Our favourite Indian in the area, it’s the best. Can’t fault the food or service. Always great and the staff are lovely. Food piping hot and tasty love their special promotion aswell 5 course meal for £15. What’s not to love? Be back again soon cheers
