Contribuiți la feedbackI recently visited Wagamama for the first time and had an amazing experience. The food was delicious, the service was prompt, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The total price for a meal for two with drinks was a reasonable £70. I will definitely be returning in the future.
I always have sympathy for the staff at this restaurant, as it seems like a challenging job dealing with lots of kids and demanding parents. I can't imagine they're paid very well. The food here is decent overall, although it didn't impress me on this visit. The wait for food was quite long, especially with children. While we understand the saying that food arrives when it's ready, it was frustrating to see one child wait about 15 minutes after the other received their meal, especially when both orders were placed at the same time. The staff appeared busy, so it wasn't a matter of laziness, but it seemed like there may not have been enough of them. They didn't seem to make much effort to check on customers, but they were definitely keeping busy. My family enjoys dining here, so it's disappointing to read so many negative reviews. I hope the management will address these issues and make improvements. I wonder if one problem is that they are struggling to handle a high volume of online delivery orders. When I've ordered delivery, it's been quick, so maybe the secret is to get delivery instead of dining in at the restaurant. I hope this isn't the case.
Honestly at this point just shut the place down. This is the worst run restaurant let alone Wagamama's I have ever come across. Rude staff Basically no management. And the food is terrible On my last outing here I saw a chef sneeze into his hands and continue to prepare food. I had to leave after watching that monstrosity.
This is the worst run Wagamama I have ever known, it's so consistently bad that it beggars belief. My kids love the food so we attempt to go there every time we go to the cinema next door and this time the place was at 25% capacity but there were 20 people waiting to be sat at the dozens of empty tables. In the 10 minutes we waited the staff didn't even acknowledge our existence, the people waiting in front of us told us they'd been standing there for half an hour so we immediately left. If we have ever actually eaten there the service is so slow and infuriating that we order the food and the bill at the same time because it saves asking for it 6 times when we're in a rush to leave. It's such a shame because the food is great and we keep going expecting that they've addressed the issues but it's actually getting worse!
The management's behavior was atrocious. We waited 20 minutes for someone to even notice us standing there waiting to be seated. When we finally made eye contact with someone, they said it would be at least another half hour. It was clear they were overwhelmed. Instead of prioritizing seating, they focused on takeout orders. They ignored us and everybody else waiting at the door. It was a frustrating experience.
