The Teesdale - Barnard Castle

Four of us had a delicious Sunday career and would recommend this restaurant / caffe to anyone who visited barnard castle. the staff is very friendly and welcoming, eating is excellent and is worth a visit every day of the week.

Great food and service. Ordered full breakfasts, mind out if you order the large.... it's not large, it's enormous. What a feed. Didn't manage to finish it, but tried my best. Highly recommended.

Great value food. We had the regular and large English breakfast, the large coming in pretty large and even came with a warning from the waitress when we wanted to order it! We also ordered the hunters chicken around 11am which is still breakfast time and they were ready to serve it which was really good; so not limited to breakfast only items depending on availability of course. We saw the table next to us order a panini platter which looked really impressive if you're really hungry. Definitely enough for 2 that one!

Popped in for high tea. Excellent quality homemade sandwiches, scones and cakes. Nice large pot of tea and extra hot water was a great accompaniment. The seating is good the atmosphere relaxing and despite being busy it was still a chill out spot. Staff were charming and it looked like they were having to much fun at work. Will definitely return.

Amazing service and massive portions. Chef is very kind and offers to make you a dish that isn't on the menu to cater for your needs. Great staff and atmosphere, always come here with my friends and always have a lovely experience and a laugh with the staff. Would rate this place higher if u could.
