Excellent food, excellent service will return soon! Update 2 weeks later returned and had another starter, main and dessert as excellent as the first time and the additional bonus this time is that Wednesday and Thursday in July they have 20% off food! Such an absolute bargain for such wonderful food.

We really enjoyed our visit to Fox and Hounds on Sunday for a roast. The service and the staff were very friendly, efficient and fast. For beginners we ordered ducks and salmon stars. Terrine was tasteful with layers of duck, carrot and cloth. Quince Marmelade complemented the dish really well, Terrine also came with a piece of roasted sourdough bread. Lachstar was slightly smoked and had capers and herbs in it, it came with a casual guardian and a sodab red. It was a great beginning of the meal. We had both Bratbeef for our head, it was sensational. Meat was so delicate, thin cut and cooked for perfection, it simply melts in the mouth. Potatoes were crispy outside and soft and fluffy inside, cabbage was alive green and crispy, cauliflower cheese boiled al dente and not mud. Yorkshire pudding was massive had a crispy and soft texture, just as you would expect to be a perfect Yorkshire pudding. Pies du resistanse was my dessert, Custard tart with Boozy raisins and nutmeg, the pastries were really thin and Custard perfectly set and silky smooth. We also had steamed pudding, it was just as delicious and came with real custard. Thanks to everyone at Fox and Hounds for a fantastic meal, I really can't wait to return in January.

Airy beautiful pub, own kitchen herbal garden and large outdoor space with children's playground. The decor is welcoming and the staff is friendly and professional. Our main course was postponed. We rarely ordered two steaks a medium. Unfortunately, both were overcooked, but we exchanged the rare for medium to eat instead of sending it back. A new order for the rare has been made. Simple mistake, but quickly followed, so bravo for it and it was delicious when it arrived! The waitress offered two free drinks as an excuse, but we hired them. Hispi Kohl absolutely beautiful like the chips. The quality of the meat is also good. Dessert's week is the star. Devine. Cherry Bakewell with Boozy cherry served warm and a lemon tart with the flaky brulee top. We didn't ask for compensation, just the right order for the steak they delivered. They took 2 drinks and the service fee from the bill. We are confident to come back and enjoy the food again.

Fantastic pub restaurant. Excellent quality food (my steak was perfect, so were the crab and scallops appetizers, etc.). Enjoy my pint of Halbenson and the beautiful Spanish Albarino white wine. Really good quality for £180 for 3 x 3 course meal. It'll be back up there.

From start to finish the service was outstanding. We were seated down at a lovely table with heaters. The starters where amazing and the tomahawk sharer (which I had to myself) was cooked to absolute perfection! I can’t wait to come back for many more meals. Thanks to all the staff for the incredible service. Will be returning soon!
