51 Grill - Bardwell

I had food from 51 grill Friday night for first and definitely last time. ??? First off it cost $49.58 for 2 seafood plates. My plate had 4 of the tiniest Cajun shrimps I’ve ever seen, 2 pieces of the skinniest pieces of fish I’ve ever seen and a baked potato cooked so hard it wasn’t edible. I’m pretty sure they cut one filet into 2 pieces. Online menu said seafood plate was $15.99 each. They said they raised prices but haven’t changed menus. I would have never paid $50 for 2 plates of great food much less skimpy overcooked food. ???

Don't know if they lost their good cook but I had to throw a third of the very expensive blackened fish in the trash tonight. And I've been known to be able to eat a bologna sandwich standing over a gut pile.

Good food and great service. Nice mom and pop country restaurant.

Order wasn't exactly correct but it was done when they said it would especially driving 30 minutes one way

Their prices were reasonable and the food was great.
