Rincon Criollo - Barcelona

If you are planning to visit an Argentinian restaurant your focus should mainly be on three items: red meet, wine and dulce de leche. El Rincón Criollo attends your three wishes. It has a good variety of meet, including lamb and saussages, a long menu of wines and spiritis and, finally, the dulce de leche pancackes which is a must. The service is good and the personel is friendly.

Tried this restaurant almost by chance, and it’s been a good surprise: liked the meat, the service and the ambient. OK!

Restaurant is so cute from the outside, but should have known better than to eat the grilled chicken. It was maybe 3 ounces and as tough as nails ... the salad a slice of tomato which was soggy, 1 cut up piece of lettece and 5 French fries... all for 9,95 euros total disgrace. Don't waste your money

On the recommendation of a friend we went, with a degree of skepticism to this restaurant he said was the greatest steak place in Barcelona . Well, he didn 't lie!! This place is fabulous!! Design wise, the bleached wood tables, chairs and floors and soft lighting provide an element of calm for a fine dining experience. But it 's the food that you came for and they do deliver. They offer an extensive range of salads, tapas, etc. to get you started as you comtemplate which cut of meat (or fish or chicken) you want. Be warned that this is a place that you bring an appetite to!!! The portions are big, but the quality is first rate. Surprising is the assortment of Italian dishes (large Italian population in Argentina), which can give the kids or light eaters dining choices. They have a limited but excellent wine selection at great prices. Actually, everything is well priced. Three of us had salads, steaks and a bottle of wine for only 67 euros!! If you find yourself in the area of the Arc de Triomf, Sagrada Familia, Passeig de Sant Joan areas, make time for lunch or dinner here. And, if you 're not, put it on the list of Go To! places; it will be worth the trip.

One of the best lunch we had in Barcelona!! The staff was very friendly and helpful!! The food there was amazing and totally value for money!! Gracias amigos!!
