Contribuiți la feedbackOn the last Friday evening of my trip, all the recommended restaurants were fully booked, so I went to a quiet-looking restaurant right in front of the hotel without much expectations, but surprisingly, I was very satisfied. I ordered Moritz draft beer, garlic octopus, and grilled shrimp. It was much tastier than the blogger restaurant and the only thing that wasn't salty! The atmosphere and music were good and the staff were good at serving people.
The place seems to be very promising in the beginning and there is a que at the door. Tables with sign of reserved outside. We actually passed by and tried to find another place somewhere else but we were convinced by the show that this is our place. Going back to the place the waiter asked us to wait at the door but they were not following the order and when I asked them that we have been here before this group they just behaved rudely. Anyway this was handled and we did not care and thought it is a mistake. From the part of ordering we ordered a croquettes of Iberian Ham which they did not bring during and after the meal. We asked for it and then they bring a full course Iberian ham. I was wondering that this could not be what we ordered and asked the waiter that we had a croquette and this should not be the food as it seemed a lot . She insisted this is what you ordered. Anyway I thought it is a miscommunication and our mistake but when the bill comes we see clearly that this was different plus there were items in the bill that we ordered byt not served. At the end we should pay for what we had even though we did not ordered but they were insisting that the croquettes were also served and wanted to charge more. This last behaviour was what ruined our night really ! I would really not suggest this place ! About the food. We had fried eggplants which was really nice but overpriced. 7 euros for something like 50 grams of eggplants !! 4 tiny slices, nicely fried and dressed with honey. But I still think over priced The patatas fritas was normal. Not bad not extraordinary. The cod fish was really bad. Not prepared well and cooked as if someone confronts the codfish for the first time with no feeling for treating see creatures. The Iberian ham meal was Ok. Overpriced for the quality of ham ! But still acceptable. The bread with tomatoes really basic and unprofessional. Proper for a dorm. So if you still insist going there I suggest Fritas patatas Fried eggplants And Iberian Ham But be careful of communication. The crowd at the door seems to me fabricated though. There were a lot of empty tables inside, byt maybe this is my misjudgment according to the misbehaviour of the staff.
Visited in late July. We were staying locally and thought we would try this restaurant. It was quite early, about 8.00 so was very quiet. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was very good, I had streak which was well cooked and seasoned and a very good size. My wife had paella which she enjoyed very much. We were taking our time and time was getting on but the restaurant didn't get any busier which seemed odd as it is a large place. Limited choice of dessert and my first choice was unavailable. When we offered our card to pay we were told that the machine wasn't working and could we pay cash. I feel we should have been told this at the start. Fortunately we were able to scrape just enough money to pay. We left with the impression that all was not well despite the good food. A shame.
We ate here about a month ago and my husband still mentions how good his grilled salmon and goat cheese was. I was very pleased with my black rice and seafood. And, contrary to a previous review, LaLlosa took credit cards.
