Irish Pub Temple - Barcelona

Great pub. Good music and two lagers (cruzcampo or san Miguel) for 6 euro. Perfect . Just off Las Ramblas near the KFC.

Walked in, sat at the bar. Barman completely ignored us, no “oh I’ll be with you in a minute etc” waited, another person walked in and sat beside us, he then walked over and served him first. We got up and walked out. We never set foot in the place again the whole time whilst in Barcelona.. There are more than enough Irish pubs and bars with far friendlier staff to see us through our stay in Barcelona..

We had a few hours to kill before flying home and this restaurant is owned by the same people who own Rossini (an Italian eatery just around the corner that we have also reviewed. They also own the Irish Bar next door! . We had 2 smash burgers, a shared fries, 2 beers and 1 diet coke for 26 Euros. That's $28.60 (in Dec 2023 and we live in the USA and cannot beat that price at our local burger bar back home. They have WiFi so I and it was quiet when we were there but they show the footy on the TV etc so I expect it gets much livelier at other times.

Very good food, nice beer, friendly staff. Possibility to see football game and always full of people who love fun!
