E Argentino El Calafate - Barcelona

El Calafate is an Argentine restaurant in Barcelona's Eixample. The place is not very big, but it is very cozy and comfortable. The personnel is very friendly. The menu is quite extensive and has many Argentine dishes and menu cuts. The gizzards are spectacular! Totally recommended, good value for money.

Since our last trip to Argentina, we have been dreaming of really good bifes de chorizo and bifes de lomo. On several occasions, we have been disappointed. Well, the disappointment finally ended when we went to El Calafate. We started with chorizo and morcilla and proveleta, all very good. Then came our bifes with a lovely green salad to accompany. The bottle of local Frau Gueralu was a great choice to drink with our steaks. Service was impeccable--friendly and prompt. We will be sure to return over the Christmas holidays.

The food is excellent , the service is efficient but make sure they charge you correctly including any “Fork” offers.

Elegant place to eat good meat and well cooked. something expensive but very good. with a grill like that of the image eats 3, we ask for two for four and sober, rations so generous. the very good empanadas and the very good milk pankake also. friendly and attentive service. to repeat!

All perfect. the quality of the food and the professionalism of the waiters. We asked for the round table when we made the reservation and they gave it to us. We called on the phone because we got a little late and they told us there was no problem.
