Barboursville Vineyards

Barboursville remains one of my favorite wineries in the area. The wines are great, the views are spectacular, and for the first time I can comment on the restaurant after a recent trip! There are lots of self guided tasting options. I suggest making a reservation in the library if you are only interested in a tasting. However, if you are looking for dinner the restaurant Palladio is excellent. We had great food and service. The filet was incredible, as well as the bucatini (but everything we had was great). We will definitely be back!

I recently went to this vineyard with a group of nine of my friends for my bachelorette. We were scheduled for a tasting. The only reason I am giving two stars is because the wine was delicious. The women that were working at the vineyard were extremely rude to my friends and I. With a group of ten girls it can obviously get a little loud with talking and laughing but we never got obnoxious. Also important to mention there was no one sitting near us. The women working were pointing and whispering about us, they tried to discourage us from ordering lunch, and then essentially told us we needed to leave “to stay on our tour schedule” before everyone was done with their wine. They also never walked us through our tasting that we had to pay extra charges for. It was extremely disappointing because I paid them $720 for our experience. If you’re looking to have fun with a group of friends I would not go here. They clearly thought they were too good for us.

One of our favorite wineries in Va. Great wines and grounds. Had lunch at the Library and the food was excellent along with the wines . Two days later dinner at Palladio which is always amazing . Great wines priced right as well .I highly recommend Barboursville Vineyards the Library and Palladio !

Wonderful experience! The meat and cheese boards were excellent, the wine was great, and our party got amazing service from Cathy and Tiffany! Will absolutely come back!

We had a wonderful experience at Barboursville Vineyard. We loved all the wines and especially hanging out with our wine guide, Bruce. We look forward to coming back for another pleasurable experience!
