Singh's Cafe - Bao Loc

The food here caught us by surprise! They served us lentil soup upon arrival, which we thought was a great gesture! We tried chicken momos, paneer paratha, garlic cauliflower and makki ki roti and saag (which was amazing). The only thing lacked was the ambience, otherwise the food was great!

Food is not authentic Indian. It’s been Americanised with a lot less spices. Some dishes were spicy but still didn’t taste right. It’s a buffet, so everything is prepared in advance or store bought like the gulab jamun.If you’re not Indian, I’m sure you’ll like it, but if you’re Indian like me then you won’t appreciate the food.

Consistently delicious food. And they are very accommodating to different spice levels, so even my young son loves it.

Service was not great. We were not offered complimentary soup that other customers dining around us were offered. We felt rushed and the food was mediocre. We will not be returning here. We returned after almost 8 years and we were not impressed.

The food is good; however, the service could be improved.
