Located off the main street, this beautiful building is the perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely coffee and cake while reading the paper. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and there is a bonus of a free art display next to the building.
The 1900 villa, recently restored, is definitely worth a visit, especially for those who appreciate historic homes. The stunning architecture and intricate woodwork are truly impressive. It's an ideal spot to relax and savor a leisurely lunch.
It is good that the historical bundoora homestead has its own caffe, as it is some distances from the food shops of the local shopping center. before or after the view of the current art exhibitions, they can sit on the caffe that takes a large space on the ground floor...(on a billard room). our group had hearty muffins and carrot cakes. other options were devonshire tee and a series of cookies. for children there are some menu options and a low table with color books and other diversions. the tables vary in size to match different groupings, and in a room from the side there are some sessels. this caffe has offered lunches earlier, but no more. the opening times of the caffeine are 11-3 on weekdays; check the bundoora homestead website for current weeks. make sure that the caffe will close an hour before the household office for the day, so don't let their coffee and tea break visit too late in their visit.
Tucked away from main road, beautiful building for relaxed coffee cake and read the paper. friendly staff. bonus free art display adjacent building.
