Mogul - Bantry legal town

Last night, we enjoyed fantastic food and service at the restaurant. Despite being busy for a Tuesday night, the waiter handled everything on his own and provided excellent service.

The food was delicious but the owners son behaviour as a waiter was unacceptable. He was aggressive and bullying. One evening we wanted to sit at the table by the window which was empty and it wasn 't reserved, he told us No in an aggressive manner and told us to sit at the back at a table for two, even thought the restaurant was empty. On a second occasion it was the same behaviours, aggressive and bullyish. I didn 't feel relaxed at this restaurant with this guy serving us. Why should I go here again if this waiter treats me in his usual aggressive manner? I won 't be going here again. The other waiter was excellent and very accomodating. It is sad as the food is really good here and we went here during the winter season a lot as the other waiter was on his own and it was a pleasant experience.

Fairly average Indian food , we love Indian cuisine but this was just ok , naan bread is shop bought not homemade also chips say home made but are frozen , curries just ok and rice quite hard and yet very expensive for what you got wouldn’t be running back

The service at this restaurant was very disappointing. We called at 8:45 looking for a table at 9:15, as the place was open until 10. The person on the phone said we could walk in anytime, so we arrived at 9:30. However, a different person told us that dine-in service had ended at 9. The new staff member apologized for the mistake, but the more senior woman seemed ignorant and unprofessional. We had to ask for takeaway instead and waited 30 minutes for our two Tikka Masalas. The senior woman made inappropriate comments about other customers and seemed disorganized. When we finally received our food at 10pm, we were only given a few plastic utensils. Despite a mistake with our order, we were not offered any compensation. The food was good, but the overall experience was disappointing. I would recommend avoiding this place unless you have no other options.
