Archangel Coffee - Banska Stiavnica

Big place with small terrace on main street and another one in back yard. We usually had beer, selection is limited but quality was ok. On the walls you can see photographs or paintings. According to posters on door or toilet they organize some music events from time to time.

Today we experienced a sad evolution of once great bistro. Three attempts to order from the menu ended with unfortunately, we don 't have . Let 's hope, this is not a new standard.

Nice place open late at night, but… We asked for 3 red wines, they served a very sweet wine that tasted like blackcurrant. We asked to change, but the next one had a cork taste. We ended up paying 24€ for… 6 wines that we couldn’t drink.

Beautiful place with lovely staff, delicious poppy seed cake and coffee. The wine was just perfect. Highly recommend!
