Food was great, love love love the mushroom toast the the French toast. Service was abit dissappointing, with lack of attention but they did appoligise which was appreciated

The restaurant offers excellent service, delicious food, and amazing coffee. The venue is beautifully decorated and has a great atmosphere. The only suggestion would be to add some signage to make it easier to locate.

As a local, I am a frequent patron of this restaurant. The breakfast offered here is fantastic. The presentation is excellent and the flavors are delicious!

My friend and I visited Glacage for the first time to catch up over some brekky. The first thing we noticed (or did not notice) was any signage out the front for the cafe. The cafe is basically tucked behind some apartment buildings, which is...fine. But we had no idea where it was. Not sure why they wouldn’t put a sign out the front ?? However, when we found it walked it, the cafe was beautiful and cosy. Filled with flowers and timber and it had a very rustic winters feel which was lovely. We ordered coffee first. I ordered a Soy cap, and my friend ordered an almond latte with honey on the side. When they brought mine out, they brought me a Soy Latte, and my friends one was done as an almond Cappucino with honey inside the coffee. We were happy to drink them anyway as they still tasted fine. But that wasn’t what we ordered. I ordered the Glacage board. I asked for Poached eggs, but when they brought the food out, my eggs were fried. The board tasted average, it was missing something but it was OK. I wouldn’t order it again. My friend ordered the Avo Toast, just as she was taking her last bite, she found a hair in it. We didn’t make a complaint about that, as she has finished it by then. And her food was also very average tasting. After our meals we shared a berry, fondant chocolate brownie glass dessert together which was delicious. Lastly, the table we were sitting at must have had some black paint or some sort of charcoal on it, because I was leaning against it as I leant back, I noticed that my red jumper had a big black stain from where I was leaning. All in all, the food was very average, however I must say all of the staff were very friendly. They fixed up my eggs and offered to change our coffees etc when the mistakes were made. I would still go back, perhaps they were just having a ‘bad day’. Next time I will try their lunch menu. Maybe that would be nicer. The cafe definitely has potential, they just need to add more flavours and concentrate on not making mistakes. As I said, the atmosphere was beautiful, cosy and very friendly!
