Tim Hortons - Bangor

I attempted to stop for coffee at my second choice in Bangor today, but it was closed. From the outside, it looked rather run-down, with a full garbage can and loose trash blowing around, so I hoped that its appearance was misleading. Unfortunately, it was indeed closed due to staffing issues. Perhaps it's best to keep this franchise location shut if they can't open during the peak tourist season.

A family of six waited an excessively long time for our order. They were out of eggs and hash browns, but had no shortage of excuses. The reasoning for not offering coffee refills due to COVID is becoming quite stale; after all, COVID spreads from person to person, not through coffee cups. With over 70% of the population vaccinated, it feels like a stretch. If the refusal to provide refills is more about trying to profit from selling an extra cup rather than safety, then I wish they would just be honest about it.

I had a fantastic experience! The staff was incredibly friendly. I enjoyed sandwiches for breakfast along with coffee and doughnuts, all of which were fresh and served with a smile. What more could you ask for?

Man I can't get enough the coffee. Hands down other than my kitchen this is my favorite spot to grab a hot coffee. The breakfast sandwiches and donuts are fantastic as well. If you're a coffee lover and never been hop on over and check this place out!

Honestly if I could give less than one star I would do it. Bathroom was closed due to covid??? Other establishments I have been in have Safely operated their restrooms why cannot they figure it out? When I simply pulled my mask down just enough to take a sip of coffee and then pull it back up, I was rudely told the mask has to stay on when in the store. Really? I was the only one in the store and they were over 12 ft away. In my opinion this establishment needs better management. I have been in other Tim Hortons restaurants where none of this stuff is going on.
