Seasons Underground - Bangor

My family and I went to seasons for the first time. I legit have NEVER had a plate of food that was so good... And typically I'm very fussy. My mother also had an amazing meal. The place is huge, the staff is friendly and on top of their game. Just an overall great experience. We WILL be going back.

The service was extremely slow and eating was below average. the whistling pig sandwich was overly sweet, soggy, seemed only half filled. fried scalopps were slandered, all fryed came out in 2-3 inches long, overcooked pieces. the appetizers of the two-rings were delicious.

First visit. niece brought me here to treat me to eat. started with Spinach/Artichoke dip and appetizer Sampler plate....very good....onion rings done as they should be. steak was very tasty and cooked medium rare, just as I wanted. very enjoyed the baked potatoes....if they were not here, highly recommended.

$36 seafood platter??? Thing was rounded with fry 's. When I asked the server about the amount of actual seafood the response was seafood is expensive . So instead of charging more for market value. They just serve less and add fry 's... Picture is the platter with fry 's removed.

In the area visiting with our grandson, the restaurant was recommended to us. Not far from the Residence Inn down the street. Plenty of parking in the rear of the building. Entrance was odd with banquet space when you come through the door and restaurant entrance towards the back of the building. Table for 5 with one being a 5 year old, we were seated at a high top table close to the bar. Our waitress was friendly and personable. First round of drinks came with in 15 minutes and food approximately 25 minutes after ordering. There were three, yes THREE functions going on while the restaurant was also working. Kudos to the kitchen staff for keeping things timed well. I ordered the Shepherds pie, which was so large I had to bring more then half home! Same with my grandsons Mac and Cheese. Chicken Marsala, Fried Clams, and Brooke fish were also ordered and very much enjoyed. Price was good over all. Would come back if ever in the area again!
