Floured - Bangaluru India

So I was looking for a cake for my sons first birthday which was on March 2020 And just then the govt had imposed a national lockdown, got to know them through a friend. So that’s when Anitha n Keshav helped me with one of best looking cake and taste wise it was delicious. So I was wondering why I had not known them earlier. There cakes are amazing and make super cute design s!! They are super friendly and sweet! Glad to have known them so since then they are out regular bakers for all our celebrations at home!! Don’t miss there mini cakes it’s a rare!

It was my Dad’s 70th Bday I had big plans but thanks to corona all my plans fizzled out. Instead of Mumbai, I had to plan a small family get together in Namma Bengaluru. With the change in venue, I started exploring Bangalore based options for cake, which is the prime attraction for any bday celebration. I was following ‘Floured Baked With Love’, Instagram handle and thought to explore it. I was unsure of what to expect at first and was admittedly nervous about the final product. I am amazed the way Keshav and Anitha personally looked into each and minute detail to jazz up the cake. I just told them I need superman cake. The chocolate cake was perfectly delicious and the decorations were spot on, not overly sweet and extremely beautiful! Their work was polished and the cake and frosting had a great flavor. Everyone at the party loved the work and taste. They bake it as home so extremely safe to have it during the Covid times and I could sense that as per the name they actually baked it with love. They adjusted the delivery timings based on my party timing so that I could get perfect moist cake. As they use butter icing, it was no very sugary and each bite was just melting inside the mouth. From working on the superman pop out work, icing colour coordination they worked as if they were baking for their own family event. I was very touched the way I was welcomed while I went to pick up the cake. Inside and out, the cake was great!. They definitely have my family and me as their repeat customers as they made our special day super special.

I feel so good to write this review. The yummiest cake we have eaten till date. Absolutely loved it. Was so beautifully made. Every little detail so well executed. What we loved: Blue n orange color looked gorgeous. The 3d backhoe on top was so perfect that my little one probably thought it was a real toy. The greyish color used on the dumptruck/cement truck was so beautiful. The detailing of the excavator perfect. The outer cream so light with the perfect amount of sweet. What makes Floured special to me is the amount of effort you guys put in talking to the client to get the requirements right. The confirmation message you send, the instructions post delivery of cake, the concern on whether the cake has reached intact really speaks volumes about your professionalism. Thank you so much for making our special day beautiful.
