Dixie Lee Fried Chicken - Bancroft

This was my first visit since the restaurant's change, and I ordered takeout for my family. Everything was excellent; the chicken was tender and juicy. We will definitely be ordering from here again!

I recently stopped by Bancroft to catch a rally race and discovered this restaurant. Their chicken features crispy skin and tender meat on the inside, and it's not greasy at all. The light breading is a nice touch compared to other well-known franchises. The service was quick and the staff was very friendly. It’s a bit of a drive for me, but I’ll definitely be back. The fish and chips were also quite good!

Worst fried chicken experience I've ever had. 22$ for a 3 pc combo of soft batter fried chicken that was flavorless. The fries were awful too. Took about 20 minutes to get my food. Wanted to give this place a chance as I liked the small town vibes of this restaurant. I was warned by a local that it wasn't great and boy I wish I took their advice. I can't even finish my meal. Avoid this place at all costs.

I live in Bancroft now and went to Dixie Lee sometimes and now i go there almost everyday for years now.The chicken and everything else is delicious and really healthy for you.The staff is just wonderful too.Very friendly and warm.They really take good care of you there.

A Canadian classic! This is one of only two remaining Dixie Lee locations in all of Canada! The chicken was fresh, the fries were cooked to perfection, and the coleslaw was just right.
