I had a delightful afternoon at the restaurant. The sandwiches were lovely, the sausage roll delicious, and the quiche was impressive. The cakes and scones were also fantastic. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was great. Overall, it was excellent value for money. I highly recommend it!

I booked very late and last minute afternoon tee for a friend birthday, we had both our little girls. by the fire personnel, where amazing, they accommodated us and the babys and were more then happy to help any kind and wise then, the afternoon tea was beautiful especially the quiche that the teeroom has a beautiful atmosphere I very recomend xx

This is the place for a beautiful relaxing afternoon tee to go, the teller are plentiful and so delicious. the ladies are wonderful, which makes it all the more pleasant. I would recommend it to everyone. very good value for money too.

Every month, a group of bed and breakfast owners in Banbury goes out for lunch, and we try to find somewhere new each time. Today, we returned to By The Fire for our second visit, and we had a truly delightful lunch. There were five of us, and we had reserved a table in the upstairs area of the restaurant, where we were given a charming and cozy spot. The staff were incredibly helpful, and our orders arrived promptly. For those of us who wanted tea, we enjoyed a big pot, and they brought more hot water when we asked for it. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We had a wonderful couple of hours, and we will definitely return again. Thank you!
