Sam Chor - Ban Talat Nua

On the first day of our trip to Thailand we wanted to eat some thai food, and because it has some good reviews we ended up to this restaurant. Because the seafood looked fresh in aquariums, we ordered some stir-fry with prawns, some spicy tom yung soup with seafood, fried rice and vegetable spring rolls. The food is delicious, those praws are so fresh they tasted sweet! If you want to eat some good thai food, we totally recommend the place!

Handy place, open 24 hours. Not cheap but food is freshly cooked street food. Big choice of fresh seafood in tanks. A bit rough and ready. Dine in and take away.

Very disappointing despite the higher price. Communication with our server was difficult due to the language barrier, and the food was lacking in taste. We ordered nine dishes, only two barely passed the mark. Pad Thai had a weird sour taste, cockles were undercooked, tom yum soup had too much coconut milk and totally missing the kick. Asparagus soup came out to be a warm salad with a bad smell. Oysters had a muddy, stale taste…. Do not recommend. There are plenty of better options in Patong.

Delicious food, lots of space, fresh ingredients, good service, friendly staff. Will highly recommend!

Brilliant place.. open 24h. Quite large and has an extensive menu. Went very late so were hardly any other people there. But considering the size, im assuming getting a table at any time would be a problem
