Khon Kaen Buffet Bbq - Ban Talat Nua

Open air seafood buffet. Price is reasonable. 359 hot pot only. +100 to also have char grill. All inclusive. Service was quite good. Some one helped prepare and serve tableside. There were some varieties of meat and seafood. The seafood was just soso: snails were good, shrimps and clams were soso and the crab didn’t taste fresh. Thai music and good vibes. Not bad for the price. Walkable from central Patong beach.

Saw some pretty bad reviews but still decided to try anyway. The beef and chicken is SO TENDER! Well marinated and even had black peppercorn for flavour. Sadly it's a very misunderstood place because they do not speak good English and their behaviour doesn't help either. Service here was bad. No one attended to us. We unknowingly walked to the cashier to pay first before getting our grills. Later did we realise they do serve you but it takes 10 minutes after you find your own seats. We also read that they charge you for unfinished leftovers. Since we paid first, we got to bypass this system. A must try hack! The price is 359 baht per person which comes with the metal plate and soup plate. And it costs another 100 baht to add a charcoal flame grill. You MUST purchase a drink here as well. Water goes for 50 baht, a rip off but no choice. Open air seating, I'd suggest to come after the sun sets.

They were pretty rude, you have to order drinks separately or they won’t let you eat. We politely said we would order drinks shortly and they went straight taking away the Mookata pot with food in it. What’s worse, I got diarrhoea from this place probably because the meat and seafood were not fresh.

Yeah was acceptable. We eat just seafood and som vegetables. The other stuff wasn't really looking like go for it. Plenty of watermelon

Very cheap bbq thai style bbq inside patong. Only 339 baht per pax with very fresh river prawns and other seafood/meat.
