Fatty's German - Ban Chalong

This restaurant is a pleasant spot with no air conditioning. The portions are large and the food is good, with a very nice atmosphere. They serve very cold beer as well.

This restaurant offers a unique fusion of Thai and German cuisine, providing a wide variety of options for all diners. The food is both affordable and of excellent quality. The restaurant, which has been in operation for over 25 years, is run by JP and his Thai wife and family. I highly recommend this restaurant for its simplicity and exceptional dishes.

The food at this restaurant is excellent, with generous portions and great service. Our party of five ordered five different dishes, and they all arrived at the same time. I can't wait to try more items from their menu!

We live in Phuket and, as a family, we have gone to Fatty's every year since it opened. If you want large portions of meats, potatoes and other filling foods, excellently cooked, professionally served in a small restaurant then Fatty's is the place for you! Very reasonable prices that have hardly gone up over the years. You have to look very carefully for the small yellow signage just by a small bridge. Car parking is limited. It's closed on Mondays.

This restaurant is run by a German Chef (JP) and his wife and daughters. The service is very special but the food is even better. I have eaten Fish, Chicken, Pork and STEAK. My favourite is the fillet steak medallions but the chicken cordon bleu is delicious as well. I could go on ..... but seriously everything on the menu is first class. The prices are very very reasonable. For example two orders of Fillet steak medallions plus two litres of German beer plus a fruit shake came to about £30 (1150 Baht).
