Das Beckstein - Bamberg

The Beckstein Café has been a Bamberg Institute for many years. We came here for coffee and cake last afternoon. There was no great selection of cakes or cakes, but nevertheless we found something we liked. The cheese cake with cream was different and delicious. The Schlotfeger, a thin chocolate bakery with fresh whipped cream was just as I remembered from my childhood. My favorite was the poppy cake. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. A very pleasant coffee break.

The Beckstein offers a good selection of food and drinks for breakfast and lunch. The kitchen is very fast and the prices are fair. They offer good options for vegetarians and nothing to change a meal if desired. The atmosphere is not special, it is really just a place to have a meal and move on.

Lunch in fresh air, within a throw of the tower and Dom. Rigatoni Bolognese with a marzen hit the spot for lunch. Waiter was polite and friendly, attentive

Decorated in rustic style, this cosy bakery cafe was a perfect stop for lunch on a cold afternoon. We enjoyed our soup and pasta lunch but we were too full to sample one of the tempting desserts on display.

Dieses Kaffeehaus im Wiener Stil befindet sich im Herzen der Bamberger Altstadt. Hier kann man in der Mittagspause in gemütlicher Atmosphäre essen. Die Bedienung war prompt und freundlich. Wir kommen wieder!
