Red Star Fells Point - Baltimore

Red Star was fantastic! The appetizers truly impressed me, especially the Brussels sprouts and meatballs. Additionally, their salad was incredibly fresh. We arrived just as happy hour was starting, and the deals were outstanding. It was a bit quiet when we first got there, but the bar soon filled up, creating a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The service was excellent!

We visited on a Wednesday evening for drinks and food. The pork belly pizza was fantastic and just the right size for two. The only downside was our server, Kristin, who gave us an oddly negative vibe. She only checked on us twice and didn’t seem friendly. The manager did stop by and was very kind, but we wanted more drinks and Kristin never returned to take our order. When she delivered the check, we thanked her, but she gave us a strange look and walked away without saying anything. Perhaps she was having a rough night, but it left us feeling uncomfortable and disappointed.

Visited again after very positive past experiences but food has changed completely. Previously, food was very good and of high quality ingredients. Asked server and previous Chef and owner are no longer there. Made sense. Current menu is what you wouldfind at a 2 star suburban diner and it tastes like that as well. Calamari was old, smelled super fishy, and tasted like one ofthose 3 month old, last minute half price Food Lion frozen bag deals. The staff was very friendly and service was great, butfood was horrible. It's a shame because we truly loved this place. We won't be returning.

I work on a boat, and at the end of the night, a tipsy passenger gave me some leftovers he couldn't finish: a quarter of a pizza and a handful of fries—about four, maybe. They had been sitting for at least two hours, so they were cold and soggy at the bottom of a crumpled white takeout box. Surprisingly, they turned out to be some of the best fries I've ever tasted. Five stars. Absolutely amazing!

I went here on a Friday evening; it was not too busy and we sat outside. We both ordered the Key Brewery sour gose and a pizza. I got the mushroom pizza and she got the pork belly one. They were both delicious! Our server was very friendly and helpful. Thelady who brought out our pizzas was also super friendly. At one point during the night the manager came out and checked with allthe tables that everyone was doing well. While I cannot speak to anything else on the menu, I do recommend their pizza. Oh, andthe tip is autoincluded with the bill under ?service fee? (I think that?s what it was called).
