Nanami Cafe - Baltimore

Just a heads up: they serve nigiri with wasabi under the fish here. It may be the authentic Japanese way, but it caught me off guard. The restaurant is located right by the water, and they offer tables where you can take off your shoes and place your feet in a large hole under the table. The interior is charming and they also have a variety of vegetarian rolls available.

As a sushi enthusiast, I must say that this restaurant exceeded my expectations with top-notch food and service. The sashimi was incredibly fresh, and they were more than willing to fulfill all of our special requests without hesitation. The wine selection was great, the food was even better, and the prices were very reasonable.

The food was wonderful. The harbor view and the lights make it an ideal spot for a dinner outing.

I was not impressed with this restaurant at all. The service was subpar - I felt rushed to order and then completely forgotten about. I ordered a salmon roll (okay), takoyaki (awful), and salmon teriyaki (very bland). I was very disappointed, especially considering Japanese food is my absolute favorite and this place has pretty good ratings. I definitely would not eat here again.
