Contribuiți la feedbackService was wonderful. Some of the best steak tartare I have had I a long time. Server's recommended dishes were spot on. Specialty cocktails went with the ricotta pistachio cake perfectly. Will definitely be back next time we are in town
It was just bad. I used to live in the area and raved about this place to my husband. I used to dine here many years ago, so being in town decided to take him our daughter for dinner. The charcuterie was fine, a bit scant, but fine. We ordered the shrimp the bistro burger. We waited, and waited, and waited. Our server was up front with us and said our food was never put in. When we finally got our meals, the supposed-to-be medium well burger was well done, the fries were soggy, the shrimp Provençal was embarrassing. There were 4 crostini on the plate only 3 shrimp with a very small amount of zucchini mushrooms, even less sauce. I didn’t feel like getting into it so I said nothing but $16 for 3 shrimp feels like highway robbery. They offered dessert on the house for the mixup which was a nice gesture. We had the cheesecake lemon bar — both were fine. Then the check came. We were double charged for everything but the charcuterie. The waiter had to come correct it. I was SO EMBARASSED to have spoken so highly only for our experience to be downright bad. This is the last time I’ll ever dine here, unfortunately.
The restaurant was very loud and it was hard to hear the friends we were sitting with. One friend ordered a burger and said she didn't want blue cheese on it, but cheddar. When the server brought out the burger, it had blue cheese on it so my friend sent it back. Whoever handled it in the kitchen just melted cheddar cheese over top of the blue cheese and sent it back and not quickly either. Service was slow and inattentive. Half of the drinks were good and half were not in our opinion. One friend let the server know she did not like her drink, it was extremely strong, and was unable to drink it. She was still charged for it. It was unfortunately a disappointing experience.
Steak tartare was great, French onion soup had a nice flavor but needed to be under the broiler for a little longer- room temperature and the cheese needed it, the duck confit was prepared well but could have used a something- a bit bland, and I would not recommend the mussels. Loved the ambiance and the live jazz duo was nice. I would try it again.
The atmosphere is very calming and welcoming. Highly recommend the croque madame. The bistro burger is just ok.
