Just Good Food - Baltimore

I was informed that my order of a two-piece whiting, four wings, two sides, and an extra lobster mac would take 15 minutes. However, after a frustrating 40 minutes, my food was finally ready. I had to request a bag and more than one napkin from a young lady at the front, who seemed disinterested in being there. In fact, none of the staff appeared motivated, and they moved at a surprisingly slow pace while preparing orders, almost as if they were doing it on purpose. To make matters worse, they forgot my greens. I had to go back and ask for them, only to be met with hostility from the man at the front taking orders when I asked if he could speed things up, considering I had already waited three times the promised time. He shouted at me in front of other customers, saying that if I wanted quick service, I should go to the carry-out and order rice and rats. As for the food, it was not worth the wait, the price, or the trouble. The chicken was slimy, the mac and cheese tasted like it came straight from a Kraft box, and the greens were bland with tough stalks, tasting oddly seasoned with cinnamon. I would advise everyone to steer clear of this establishment. They are slow, overpriced, and combative. By the time we finished our meal, the mall was closing.

I strongly urge you to heed the one-star reviews, as they accurately reflect my experience. I encountered an issue with the staff at the mall and tried to speak with a manager. After being on hold for over 15 minutes, I was hung up on. When I called back to explain what had happened, there was no apology; all I was told was that there was another customer in front of me. Eventually, I was transferred to a manager while I was still talking, without any warning. At this point, I hoped to finally resolve my issue and have a meaningful conversation with someone who would assist me professionally. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. The manager interrupted me every time I tried to speak. When I asked her why she kept cutting me off, she responded by cursing at me and told me to stop calling her store, saying, "Don't f***ing call my store, f*** you." I believe in supporting Black-owned businesses, but this establishment is clearly filled with arrogant and self-absorbed staff. It’s disheartening, especially since I even mentioned my intention to support a Black-owned business. I will not be returning.

I enjoyed the fried wings, macaroni, and greens for dinner tonight, and it was fantastic! I'm not sure where all the negative reviews are coming from, as the food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely be returning!
