Contribuiți la feedbackThe cooked food at this market, along with a variety of produce from local farmers, creates a lively Sunday morning atmosphere. Be sure to arrive early and join the line for a selection of beans, including green and black-eyed peas, butter beans, crowder peas, speckled butter beans, baby limas, large limas, black beans, kidney beans, and northern beans. The options seem endless and are available year-round from the freezer. However, the true highlight of the market is the mushroom vendor. Along with fresh wild mushrooms, she offers mushroom risotto, soup, and our personal favorite: oyster mushroom fritters with feta, mesclun, and homemade hot sauce. We can't wait until April for the next farmer's market season to begin.
There are a lot of delicious options for vegans at this restaurant! The falafels are especially tasty. And be careful, the pies are dangerously delicious.
Located beneath the highway, this market is conveniently just a brief stroll from Baltimore's inner harbor. While passing through a slightly questionable area (the red light district), I personally never experienced any issues. The menu offers a variety of large vegan options including a falafel wrap on either a collar or weizen wrap, a mushroom burrito with kossreis and bohnen (without eggs and cheese), and a grilled portobello served either in a pita or on a bed of greens and quinoa for vegans.

The restaurant offers a great selection of cooked food made with fresh produce from local farmers, making it the perfect spot for a delicious Sunday morning meal. Be sure to arrive early and line up at the booth selling beans, which come in a variety of types including green, black-eyed, butter, crowder, speckled, dixie butter, baby, and large limas, as well as black, kidney, and northern beans. The options seem endless, and we find ourselves enjoying these beans throughout the year straight from our freezer. Another highlight of the market is the mushroom vendor, who offers a range of fresh wild mushrooms as well as dishes like mushroom chile, risotto, soup, and our personal favorite: oyster mushroom fritters with feta, mesclun, and homemade hot sauce. We can't wait for April to come around so we can visit the farmer's market again.
