Contribuiți la feedbackFood was just okay. I wish 3.5 was an option as a rating. I Took my staff here for a dinner retreat. Our server was very nice and helpful. The food drinks however, were just ok . Presentation, I 'd say was the strongest attribute, but flavor seemed to be an issue for all of my colleagues across the board. One person had to send the steak back be because it was cold. Two other short ribs were overcooked. Spinach was super flavorful and cooked quite nicely. They seem to function as a restaurant that just opened and is still figuring it out. Great potential, but I expected more given their pricing. Cappuccinos were very good.
Interestingly, we found Alizee’s dining room empty at 6pm on a Friday. As a result, acoustics were horrible. The restaurant’s floors and walls consist of tile, so the noise coming from the bar and lobby create an echo chamber. The restaurant installed lots of tacky green hedges in an attempt to counteract the effect; however, it doesn’t work. Our server also doubled as the bartender. Given that he also had to mind the bar, he did a good job. The food took an unusually long time to come to the table after ordering. On the plus side, everyone at the table enjoyed the quality of their food. The cheesesteak sub was made from filet mignon (if you don’t want it cooked medium rare, you’ll need to specify). The crab cakes here had very little filler, were flavorful, and made with jumbo lump crabmeat. We speculated that the hotel room service orders keep this restaurant in business. This establishment is definitely not a destination restaurant. However, if you’re staying in the hotel, do come here for a tasty meal.
There was a mouse running around the restaurant while we were there. The food was cold. It cost $20 per adult.
Overall I was unimpressed, very disappointed. We decided to try it because it was restaurant week. A friend of mine ordered the crab deviled eggs and the crab wasn’t placed on her app and it was bought out in a condiment cup instead. Eggs were under seasoned and had way too much Dijon mustard. I ordered fries as an additional starter with the contingency upon malt vinegar being available it was bought out and inedible because it is expired (pictured below). My sister ordered the quinoa salad which was pretty but taste wise disappointing. Wasn’t enough dressing and the quinoa wasn’t seasoned…. Not enough cheese on the salad if the grain was going to be bland. The food was not hot for the amount of time we waited. Also the plates weren’t heated which cooled my meal done a great deal. The Demi tasted like it was from a pack and the ribs had a good taste but were way overcooked potatoes had no garlic in them. The highlight was the drinks we ordered and the mousse cake. The server was pleasant but I won’t be back.
Came in on 01/31/23 at 10:30am. After having great service at the hotel i thought to stop for breakfast. The service I have received upon arrival at the restaurant made me regret my decision. The waitress with blond and curly hair would not even great us or look at us as we ordered. When placing our orders she was rude in tone and not welcoming at all. Will not be returning because of her. My mom has also had a headache and the lady was so rude to her. And proceeded to drag a large trolley making ruckus and making my mothers headache more severe.
