The Epicurean Kitchen, Balnarring

My experience at this restaurant was mediocre. I didn’t feel a warm welcome from the young waitstaff, nor did I receive any exceptional service during the evening. The roast vegetable pizza was just alright; the pumpkin was overcooked and the other vegetables were mushy, making it more like a roast vegetable puree pizza. However, the crust was well-cooked and crisp. There are better options nearby, so I haven't gone back.

Not even open when they state they are. Website states they're open at 4:30 but the phone rings out. Poor service. I find pizza's delicious but overpriced.

Disappointed. We were the only people in the restaurant and it took over an hour for a pizza and a pasta to come out. The penne and meatballs were bland and you could tell the meatballs were microwaved. Friends have said how great this restaurant is but our experience was nothing but disappointment.

Yum. Great pizza. Lovely proper thin bases, great flavour! BYO. Can't go wrong, nice and chilled out and friendly staff. Would def come back.

WORST PIZZA AND RIDICOUSLY PRICED IN AUSTRALIA. This place is seriously bad. We ordered a delivery to less than 5 minutes away, that is a large prawn pizza and a chicken and I swear the pizzas made about 6 slices of this burnt crust that crumbled away and had a tiny prawn on each piece of one pizza and one tiny piece of chicken on the other. Utterly tasteless as it was really just a smear of tomato paste on a burnt piece of cardboard. We also ordered three small chocolate mooses and guess what $62!!!!! Obviously the other reviews are friends or employees except for John Smith as the only honest one. Really, really bad and avoid at all costs!
