Fire Box Grill - Ballyshannon

Four of us went on Saturday evening we all ordered steak mine was 70 percent gristle and fat the other three were nice I don't like complaining but I did they gave us a 10 percent discount I will try again at a later date

This is a lovely little restaurant some food is cooked on an open grill much bigger than I expected great atmosphere cosy a delight to eat in

Visit here annually and the steak is a must. Lovely wee restaurant and the steaks are cooked in view of customers. Would highly recommend. Good price too.

We had great night here at short notice we were lucky to get the last table booking. Friendly and busy great pub grub!

We visited , as guests, on a business trip. There was a group of 9 and we were catered for in an excellent fashion. The food was fantastic but, first, the premises. This is an old rail-way station on the very water 's edge of Lough Swilly. The location is really impressive, even if the building itself is 'ordinary ' from the outside. The menu was extensive and the 'attraction ' here is that the meat is cooked on an open grille, over a timber fire, in the middle of the restaurant. The ambience was very nice and I will definitely return here with family friends
