Went here for lunch with my partner today. I got a fry and my partner got a panini. Food was delicious, cooked perfectly, and staff were friendly. There were homemade scones, apple pie and cakes on display and cafe was decorated for halloween. Would definitely return.
We had a lovely morning here. Lovely wee coffee shop with friendly staff. Delicious scones and lovely surroundings
Stopped here for lunch. Cafe appeared clean and well kept. Service was reasonably quick and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food was great; we both had the breakfast and it was nicely cooked and tasty.
We called in yesterday after a recommendation from a friend. The premises are bright and pleasant. A young lady promptly provided us with menus, and we had a pleasant conversation and a laugh with her. We ordered a small fry and quiche. The fry was ok. The pastry case of the quiche was burnt black and the fillin was overcooked, and dry. Almost inedible. We left the burnt case on the plate for staff to see. At no time did anyone ask us if everything was ok. In our original conversation with the waitress we indicated that we would probably like some apple tart as well. When we had finished our main meal we waited ten minutes with dirty plates while staff walked past us and ignored us. Eventually we approached the counter to ask for our tarts. Our table was only cleared when the waitress appeared with our desserts. We were offered an option to have our tea refreshed...it had been finished ten minutes previously. We declined, as addng hot water would have left us with watery tea to take with our dessert. We felt that we should have been offered another pot of tea. When paying for our food, again we were not asked if everything was ok. This visit started out pleasant and with considerable optimism, and was gradually dragged down into quite a depressing experience. We truly felt that we were an inconvenience. There was three staff and four occupied tables.
