Oranmore House - Ballymena

We visited Oranmore a few weeks ago on a beautiful September evening. The gardens and the building are fabulous. It's a family run place and I gathered from other diners that evening that the accommodation is superb. Service was first class as was the dinner. Service: 5 Location: 5

A gem of a place. On arrival we were greeted with a smile and a welcome handshake. Service and food is excellent. Lovely traditional decor and the most gorgeous table cloths on tables in dining room. Rooms had bottles of water and glasses..something some hotels don't have ! A kettle and microwave even. Garden grounds are beautiful. Poached eggs for breakfast from the hens they keep . Nothing was too much bother..my daughter was getting married and she and the bridesmaid had a small lounge by their bedrooms where makeup and hair was done.

Stunning and picturesque rooms were delightfully old fashioned and the grounds were stunning, staff very professional and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
