Strand - Ballyliffin

My daughter and son in law got married here, everyone of the staff were helping us with last minute arrangements, and kept bringing us in tea and sandwiches, one of the staff was working away downstairs helping us with lots of stuff, when my daughter introduced me to him it turned out he was the owner, a great guy, he was way down to earth and funny too, i would recommend the strand Hotel and give 10 stars, we had the best memories and day ever, and everyone said likewise, it was such good craic, the staff and owner were in a class of there own, and i am so glad the 'Stand Hotel ' Was the chosen place for my daughters wedding. A big Thank You to one and all.

My wife and I would like to thank Johnny Catherine John and all the staff for an absolutely fantastic day at our wedding. This is an amazing venue and the staff are brilliant nothing is to much bother. The food was first class and everyone got more than enough. The honey moon suite is stunning and the guests room are lovely. I would highly recommend the strand to everyone. Thank you.

The restaurant had a great atmosphere, the food was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. One of the best dining experiences I've had in a while. I have to mention again, the food was delicious.

We stayed at this hotel the night before beginning a cycle from Malin to Mizen, and the service we received was exceptional. We had booked 17 rooms with bed, breakfast, and an evening meal, which turned out to be one of the best meals we have ever had. John took care of all our needs and even organized a bus for us to get to Malin the next morning without any hassle. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning in the future. The meal was delightful and the staff was very accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
