The soup was real homemade vegetable soup with lovely flavour. The sandwich was a generously filled roll, nicely presented with a little salad. A very tasty and filling lunch in a nice surroundings. The cakes and treats looked delicious but as we had dinner booked for the evening, we did not indulge. The bathrooms were pristine. Glad we found Kariba's and would recommend it.
Have been visiting this restaurant for many years having never been disappointed with the excellent food and service however the steak sandwich I had today was exceptional looking forward to the next visit already .
Travelling across the country from Dublin to Lahinch we decided upon Ballinasloe for a brief lunch stop. We happened in on Kariba entirely by chance and were not disappointed. A proper pot of tea for two, delicious sandwiches and very friendly staff who were homely and attentive. Seemed to be frequented by local people which is always a good sign. The toilet facilities were very clean. So top marks from us for Karibas.
Food was fantastic, especially the desserts. Staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was a problem. Would highly recommend. All in all a lovely experience.
We stumbled upon this place by chance. On holidays around Galway and touring around, we stopped off for lunch in Ballinasloe. We were greeted at the door, and taken to a table. I have a very picky daughter but the manager went above and beyond to find her something she would like. Needless to say, we all had a lovely lunch and very reasonably priced. Outdoor seating available and hand sanitizer.
