Twin Trees Leisure Club - Ballina

We were upgraded to a suite, not sure why but it was lovely. The night porter was so friendly and courteous..,.. enjoyed our short stay.

Overall a pleasant one night stay. Positives very friendly and helpful staff in the bar and restaurant, good quality food in the bar and for buffet breakfast. Room was nice and bed was comfortable but could do with a furniture facelift as it darkens everything. Same applies to the corridors bright paint would make a big difference. Negatives and easily fixed music choice in the leisure centre was shocking, a rave rant by some band which was littered with foul language and general rage against sanity hotel management must surely control what gets put on the speaker system at all times and I'm sure management didn't choose the material on Saturday evening last. Still in the leisure centre, I would highly recommend that basic soap shampoo is provided next to each shower unit, refill containers screwed to the tiles would seem an easy solution.

We came back and weren’t disappointed. Family run hotel in beautiful town of Ballina. Well situated Close to beaches, hills, riding. We have had a great day at Ceidi Fields (older than stone henge) and the the Victorian seaweed baths. Good food at the hotel. David and Rachel are excellent hosts supported by excellent trained staff
