Friendly happy staff, a nice place to have a meal. The service was great, we were ushered to our table efficiently and given menus. After we ordered the food arrived within a reasonable time and was most enjoyable. There is a complementary tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc where you help your self. Tables have a car park view so you can view your car as you dine.

Great place to go for dinner at a very reasonable price with a good choice of meals on the menu.if you become a social member of the the trotting club you get discount on meals and drinks. There is quite and extensive seniors menu which is very well priced . This is a large venue catering for all age groups

Visited pacing cup night and was greeted by very friendly staff that could not do enough food was exceptional very large serve (roast) husband had steak and loved it also . Highly recomend this bistro on our experience

This venue has improved enormously since we were last there. Gone is the Bain Marie with the lukewarm vegetables to serve yourself. Gone too is the likewise mediocre salad bar. In their place, a welcoming hostess, and meals served fully plated with hot vegetables and where applicable, nice salads.

It had been more than six months since I had visited the Flying Horse, I was looking forward to a good meal.The food was good, small serves I noticed and no bread on the side. Sorry to see that the salad bar was gone. The staff told me that customers had taken advantage of this service when I asked. Some of the cheap offers have stayed.I was also told that there was new management. Suprised that only a few patrons to be seen in the bistro, last time it was crowded. Let's change the business model, people - it was a great bistro last year.
