Contribuiți la feedbackWe were looking for a change for lunch and we found just that at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and their fruit smoothies were beautiful.
I had eggs with tomato and chorizo. It was fine except too small. I also had a turmeric drink which was very good.
With a coeliac vegetarian daughter we thought this sounded like the perfect place for lunch before heading to the Archibald at the Ballarat Gallery. The service was bad!!We set our selves down at a table, found out you need to order inside so my husband went inside and got some menus for us. Great choice of food all sounding great, although the breakfast menu had finished and some of the items here would have been perfect for lunch too.My husband went in and ordered and paid, both food and drinks. After 15 minutes the 2 'cold' drinks came out but no coffee. Another 5-10 minutes 2 of 3 meals came out. My salad didn't have the chicken added as was asked for. The reply was it wasn't on the order; no please let me fix this up for you, or sorry can we take it back and add some? Still no coffee (nor any water offered or just bought out). We were at least half way through our meals when my husband went in again to see where his meal was and my coffee. Finally his meal was ready; had to ask about the coffee again, even though one waitress was clearing a table. My coffee finally came and we quickly finished everything and headed to the gallery.Either they were terribly understaffed or they need some serious training in customer service.Such a shame for what should be a fantastic cafe, especially since the food was delicious.
Can highly recommend Turmeric latte with coconut, ginger and honey Slow cooked lamb shoulder with roasted vegetables, balsamic vinegar and coconut labneh
My partner struck it lucky with a yum smoothie and chicken burger. I felt like a salad, with not many options salad wise I chose the special - Cajun Chicken, with crispy chat, avo and salad($20). The flavours were there unfortunately the Cajun chicken was MIA. One tenderloin does not make a Cajun chicken salad. I'd rename it! Or just charge for a proper serve of chicken.
