I arrived late, must have looked tired, a lovely staff member took my bags to my room, took my very late dinner order, brought it up and was so attentive and polite. This is a fabulous place to stay and dine, great parking, and great staff who really care about you and your welfare

Visiting from Melbourne to take my mother out to lunch, we were given a warm welcome on a cold day. Our server Hannah, and the other staff all provided friendly and professional service.The menu had lots of variety and there was a great list of additional daily specials. Our choices of beef cheek ragu with gnocchi, chicken risotto, and fish and chips were delicious. The selection of wines by the glass offered something to suit all tastes, and the pinot noir was a very good match for my meal. The dessert options were also excellent.We will look forward to a return visit on our return to Ballarat.

Dined here with a large group on Saturday night. We were in town for a basketball tournament so half our group of 30 where teenagers. Everyone loved their meals and service was good. Oscars should offer a couple specialty beers on tap instead of standard old Aussie stand byes like Carlton draught. There was a bit of confusion over paying the bill be understandable. All in all I'd dine here again as it was within walking distance from out mid city motel accommodation.

A light family lunch of cheese toasters with salad & chips and various drinks was wonderful. Quick and appetising, just right. Seriously good service here! Will try again.
