Blue Bell Hotel Restaurant

We arrived at the restaurant hoping for lunch at the bistro, but since it was closing for dinner service, the friendly staff directed us to the Sports bar. The food was incredibly tasty and the staff were very nice, attentive, and quick. I highly recommend this place.

Four of us went out for dinner and each ordered a different dish. Every meal was delicious and we all ate until we were stuffed, but none of us could finish our food!

We had made a reservation for dinner at the Blue Bell restaurant next door to the Wendouree Arts Centre, where we had tickets for a show that evening. The restaurant had its ups and downs. On the positive side, the location was convenient, the parking was easy, and the prices of the food were reasonable. However, the negatives included the disappointing side of frozen peas and corn along with a few pieces of pumpkin. The staff did not appear enthusiastic and seemed to be under pressure, despite it being a Saturday night and not overly busy. Only one waitress greeted us with a smile. It seemed like there were a few regulars who were being treated well, but overall, I wouldn't choose this as my go-to spot. I don't often give negative reviews, but unfortunately, this pub left much to be desired.

Our son wanted chicken nuggets mash potato and vege and they where going to charge another $7 ontop of the $12 kids meal just for veggies. Not acceptable!!

Tonight we had a lovely meal at the BlueBell hotel. The steak was cooked to perfection. The staff looking after us were helpful and we were well looked after and waited on. Hopefully for the hotel, they will be able to fully open up again soon.
