Griffin Burger - BALLARAT CENTRAL

Wanting to give this place a try for a while, when arriving noticing how busy this shop was is alway to best way to tell quality. The burgers are a good size and the different flavoured chips are a great idea, I thought the cheeseburger fries to be salty but all of the food is fresh

Nearly had all there burgers on the menu except for the vegetarian ones haha. Never disappoints, so happy it's always busy as a local business which uses local products. Unique New York is a great chicken burger but go the hybrid to test yourself. The special fries are some of the best chips I've ever had. Get yourself there if you love burgers

Food always great, and an amazing selection, easy to tweak too. always happy with the food, even great for picky eaters. Beer batter chips are fantastic and the salt selection great. a bit on the pricier side but we have never left disappointing.

This is a great burger bar! Being on the road looking for somewhere to eat late on a Saturday afternoon in Ballarat filled me with paranoia to say the least. We found Griffin Burger and my cynicism turned to joy. We all had different burgers/fries/drinks, (I had the Super Cheese Burger by the way) all sensational..$13 for a burger this good is a realistic price; fries were excellent; this is real food. Loved it! What more can I say.

The idea for this shop is to use local products. Which is good theoretically. And they seemed to have plenty of customers, esp uni students. However, the place was really dirty and the service was unbelieveably slow. We waited about half an hour to get our meal, even though when we arrived we were the only customers in there. Students came in after we did.The burgers themselves tasted ok , (not earth-shattering) but so sloppy we couldn't eat them. My husband commented that they didn't even toast the buns. It was expensive for a hamburger $22 for 2.
