Nice ambiance, decor and table spacing. Currently there are two dining option times due to COVIDSafe requirements, so with everyone arriving for session the staff appeared a little run off their feet and hassled, but we were lucky enough to get served before others,...who I noticed were waiting a long time for their meals because of the singular dining time. Good steaks, just pity there isn’t a Bernaise Sauce which I consider a classic with steak. Chips were warm rather than hot. The home ‘baste’ is very garlicky and does permeate the steak. My partner had a steak without baste and I think he made the best choice. Good, but not great for the price I would give it

Booked over the phone for dinner for two, Saturday night Arrived to be sat at a table jammed into the absolute walls of the corner of the restaurant next to the office. Table not a metre square with both of us facing a wall...looking into the corner. Asked if we could move. No, no tables left elsewhere. Suggested that maybe they should have said they were booked out instead of offering such an uncomfortable spot. Instead of any understanding, the ‘floor manager’ stated that that no one else has ever complained. Asked if when another table finished if maybe we could move? Then told, they were all starters so no. Not interested. The end. Zero interest in offering an alternative, apologising, suggesting another night.. nothing. So we left. On leaving asked for the contact details of the manager to which she refused. So disappointing and will never, ever attempt to go back. Plenty of other quality restaurants in Ballarat for you to give your money to.

Awesome meal!, I had lamb my husband had steak, the service was exceptional and the restaurant itself was stunning. Having to buy each item/component to the meal adds up though.

Very nice food and good service. But we were shocked when the bill came. Be aware each item on the menu incurs an extra cost unless you get just steak chips no sauce or sides, there is no kids menu and in the end...we paid for adults children under and got only one course and one round of drinks.

On our recent visit we experienced excellent rump steak, lamb chops and king prawns all prepared to our satisfaction. The atmosphere was great for a family, and the service spot on!
